PCYP gains access

to prominent industry leaders and equally ambitious peers. The organization helps to improve its members’ networking skills, expand their contact base, and provides the opportunity to promote themselves and their business in a relaxing atmosphere. The goal of the PCYP is to ultimately help its members get involved in the local business scene and to impact the current and future marketplace. The third Wednesday of every month (subscribe to our calendar for changes), PCYP will host a networking event in some of the areas premier hot spots. These social settings provide a comfortable atmosphere for establishing new personal or professional relationships, allowing young business people to interact socially, exchange ideas and share common interests. Periodically, business leaders, public officials and industry experts will speak at events, providing PCYP with tips on how to advance their careers. PCYP gives young professionals the opportunity to:

• Get involved in the local business scene
• Impact the current and future marketplace
• Meet business leaders and political figures of today and tomorrow
• Interact with young professionals throughout the Cape Fear area
• Improve networking skills, expand contact base and advance careers in order to promote their business and themselves.
• Gain committee and board experience
• Experience the region's rich cultural offerings
