If you missed it, we introduced our mobile book cart, La Carreta Literaria, at our End of Year Tutoring Celebration. Children were able to pick new books and take them home to build their own library. This was a collaboration with Kids Making It as they helped our students design and build the cart! A huge thanks to Cape Fear Kids Get Books who provided us with a huge supply of new books for babies to teens, including some bilingual books 😍You’ll the amazing book cart at our next mobile market with NourishNC !

We said goodbye to our Middle School Tutoring Program Coordinator, Alexandra Caldwell, last week. It was bittersweet for all of us 🥹. Alexandra worked tirelessly to support our middle school students & their families. We’re thrilled to share that she welcomed her daughter into the world on Mother’s Day! Wishing Alexandra and her family all the best as they adjust to life as a family of 4 💕
