Trails don't happen by accident—they are built through planning, passion, and community leaders like Kristin! When Kristin first discovered Delaware Greenways in 2023, she was simply an active mom looking for family-friendly, paved paths where her and family could ride safely. Using our Trail Library, she found exactly what she needed. Today, she is helping lead our organization as the Secretary of our Board of Directors!

📲 Follow us on LinkedIn to read the full blog feature on Kristin's journey from late-night trail searching to the boardroom, and see how your own journey can start with Delaware Greenways! https://tinyurl.com/DelawareGreenwaysLinkedIn

As Kristin shared, protecting these recreational treasures takes a community. Help us continue providing the free tools and open spaces that keep Delaware families moving safely. Consider making a donation to Delaware Greenways today at the link in our bio!

🚴🏾‍♀️✨ What a ride!

This past Saturday, a total of 38 riders came together for the Delaware Freedom Ride, a meaningful journey through Delaware's history, communities, and trail network.

The ride featured inspiring remarks about Delaware's Freedom Fighters and the people and places that helped shape our state's history, creating a powerful experience that connected the past with the present.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, as well as our partners at Urban Bike Project, for making this year's Freedom Ride such a success. Together, we're creating opportunities to explore Delaware, connect with one another, and experience the stories that make our communities unique. 💚

📸 Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the day!
