The 24th Annual Coastal Land Trust Golf Tournament was a HUGE success! Thanks to the help from PMG Carolinas and our generous sponsors, $165,000 was raised to support land conservation across the North Carolina coast. This tournament was a real hole-in-one 😉⛳!

Thanks to Country Club of Landfall for hosting us again this year!

We had so much fun Flytrap Frolic this past Saturday! We saw more than 800 people at the Stanley Rehder Carnivorous Plant Garden and sold out of Venus flytraps again this year (ethically sourced)! Everyone had a great time getting their faces painted, doing arts and crafts, and learning about native carnivorous plants from our educated garden guides and partners. In case you missed it this year, don’t worry, Flytrap Frolic happens on the first Saturday of June each year!

Some days, working in conservation means you spend time out in the field soaking up the sun on conserved properties. On the other days, the Coastal Land Trust team is working behind the scenes - brainstorming ideas for new events, coming up with communication plans, and figuring out ways to improve our data capture. Working at a land trust is all about balance, and every day is a great day when you work in conservation!
