Hope Recuperative Care (HRC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was originally established in 2018 as a ministry of the Anchor United Methodist Church, in partnership with New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Winter Park Baptist Church to provide free, temporary shelter to hospital patients who are medically ready to leave the hospital/doctor's care bu

t have no home to recover in. Then in late 2020 Hope Recuperative Care established itself as a stand-alone, nonprofit organization.
