As we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, we would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the first responders who are working today to keep our communities safe. Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and service.

The members of Lower Cape Fear FOP Lodge 58 extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to the family, friends, and the men and women of the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office following the tragic line-of-duty death of Deputy Damien Draper Bost.

We stand with our brothers and sisters in blue during this incredibly difficult time. May God provide strength, comfort, and peace to all who are grieving, and may we never forget the sacrifice Deputy Bost made in service to his community.

Lower Cape Fear Lodge 58 proudly stands beside law enforcement officers across this nation in remembering the fallen, supporting the living, and recognizing the dedication, courage, and selfless service displayed each and every day.
This week serves as a reminder that behind every badge is a commitment to protect others, often at great personal sacrifice. We will never forget those who gave their lives in service, and we continue to keep their families, friends, and fellow officers in our thoughts and prayers.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

New Hanover County Clerk of Superior Court Jan Kennedy, District Court Judge Chad Hogston, and Superior Court Judge Frank Jones all came out and asked to speak to the members of the Lower Cape Fear Lodge #58 Fraternal Order of Police regarding their re-election endorsement. After hearing from each candidate, the members of the Lodge are proud to unanimously endorse their re-election campaigns.
We greatly appreciate your continued support of the law enforcement community and your unwavering commitment to public service. We also sincerely appreciate each of you taking the time to speak with our members and share your goals, vision, and continued commitment to serving the citizens of New Hanover County.
