Having lost my son to gun violence 17.5 years ago on June 6, 2026, I pledge to dedicate my remaining years to advocating for and working towards a safer world to the best of my abilities.

My experience with Gun Sense University (GSU) in Washington, DC, has reinforced my commitment to this cause. Through GSU, I met with state legislators and their staff at their offices, participated in classroom training, and had the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals. Our dedicated team worked together and had a productive time, demonstrating a collective commitment to creating change. It was a pleasure meeting zoom meetings participants in person 🧡🧡🧡

We were ALL IN!

Delaware Governor Matt Meyer issued a proclamation declaring June Gun Violence Awareness Month in Dover and granted pardons to two individuals.

The favorable weather ocontributed to the success of the Wear Orange Walk/Run, and we are thankful for the participation of all. Our appreciation extends to sponsors, speakers, and volunteers for their contributions. We also thank Detective T and the New Castle County Police Department for their safety services, Mr. Brinkley for catering, and the families who joined us to honor their loved ones. Additionally, Courtney's remarkable efforts over the last four months have not gone unnoticed, and we express our sincere gratitude.

Gun violence has far-reaching consequences, and I appreciate the genuine backing shown by those in my community. The Wear Orange weekend initiative provides a chance to show unity with survivors. Posting an orange picture can be an effective way to exhibit support and concern. The pictures are great 🧡
