Juicy’s Pug Rescue was started by the adoption of one pug, Juicy. Juicy was 10 when we adopted her. She had some health problems but it never prevented her from being a wonderful, sweet, loving companion. She loved carrots and would come running when she heard the refrigerator open. We loved her so much that we wanted another pug. They are like potato chips, you can’t have just one�. We contacted

or local animal shelter and told them no matter their health, call us. We will do what we can. From Juicy we have grown to at one time 11 pugs. Sadly we have had our babies pass on over that rainbow bridge. Most of them lived long lives and were extremely pampered. The seven that we have now are elderly. Playing ball in the back yard happens less because of arthritis. They sleep a lot, don’t like for us to leave them even to go to the store. They like Turner Classic Movies. Really! I think it’s because there are no loud commercials and the movies usually have a soothing musical background. We no longer find homes for our pugs but we will contact someone if we find a sweet pug that needs a home. That’s an update on Juicy’s Pug Rescue. The pugs and it’s owners are aging and mainly share photos of our and other people’s lovely animals. We support local ASPCA and other animal rescue groups and we encourage you to do the same. �

Foto de la mascota
Juguetes favoritos
Alimento favorito
Año con año cada vez más personas buscan honrar la memoria de sus mascotas a través de un altar y en redes sociales dan cuenta de ello y comparten fotografías de sus ofrendas. De distintos estilos y con diversos elementos, cada ofrenda posee un toque especial que la vuelve única y valida.

When a foal is born, it doesn’t come out with hard hooves right away. Instead, its feet are covered in soft, rubbery layers that horse people call “fairy fingers” or “golden slippers.” These little coverings keep the mother safe while the foal is still inside her, protecting her from sharp kicks. They also help during birth, so the mare isn’t hurt when the foal makes its way into the world.

The moment the foal is born, those golden slippers start to dry out. As the foal takes its first steps, they peel away on their own, leaving behind the tough hooves it will need for life. It doesn’t hurt the foal, this is just nature’s way of making sure both mother and baby are safe, and that the foal is ready to stand and walk within hours of being born.
