💚""We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
~Winston Churchhill~

We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our dear friend and dedicated supporter Leslie McCarthy.

Leslie was a cornerstone to our community. Her extraordinary generosity touched countless lives with her focus of keeping the needs of our most vunerable in the community at the forefront of her giving. Whether it was making sure we had size 17 shoes for a young man aging out of foster care, making sure Santa had gifts for all ages, rallying the community to support our graduations and birthdays, or simply checking in on the nonprofit staff and volunteers to make sure they were doing okay and had what they needed to continue the work - Leslie truly embodied what it means to care for one's neighbor.

Her impact will be felt across the many communities she served for generations to come, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire us every single day.

Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to her family, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege to know her. Rest in Peace. Leslie - you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 💚

Such a fun day at the 🌎REAL WORLD SIMULATION 🌎

We joined DHHS and many of our community partners for this incredible event for our teens and young adults from all across the state!

Financial literacy was practiced, budgets were made and the youth even got the chance to experience driving under the influence with alcohol impairment goggles!

Thank you to everyone that supported our Men's Business Attire drive !! We were able to provide the young men with interview attire to take home with them!

👔👖👔👖👔👖👔👖👔👖

Special thanks to
Sylvan Learning, and
The Bluffs on the Cape Fear for collecting items for us!
