We were blessed to be surrounded by books and family that encouraged us to always read and grow – books like the Bible, classic works of literature, and even more contemporary

books on personal growth, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and effective communication. There are families that don’t have access to books like these – kids who have no idea these genres even exist or the possibility that exists in being empowered through words. We are gathering inspirational, motivational, and personal growth-oriented print materials and creating Empowerment Libraries for kids and adults and could use a lift up. Words of support and encouragement could be just the thing to change or even save a life. Bailey’s Books is named in memorial of a boy near and dear to our hearts, Bailey Bassett, who could have used some new words of support and encouragement of his own one day. We hope to be there through books for kids and adults just like Bailey in their darkest hours. With a positive book by your side, you are never alone. Please consider donating today – in return we will send you an email of a chapter of my upcoming book, The Rebounding Revolution: A New Day, A New Way, which is about rising up in the face of obstacles by leaning into a relationship with God. We need a place to gather these materials, a vehicle to transport them in, and money to fund the staff that is going to make this happen – and that is just the beginning. Our Bailey's Books location in the Raleigh Salvation Army is RUNNING LOW on books, and we could really use your donation. The women in the shelter have really responded to this material, and it's important that we keep them stocked up. These books are making a real difference.

Today we launched our 3rd Bailey's Books location! This one is in Raleigh, NC at the Salvation Army "Center of Hope". Thank you all for your help, love, support and donations along the way. These books are going to touch and change so many lives.

We have had several people ask if they can donate books...yes, you can! Details of where to send them are listed on the donation site description as well as a DONATE NOW button if a cash donation is easier. We need approximately $500 to fund each library but we have a list of other needs for cash donations as well - there is a lot of work involved in getting this off the ground! Thanks to everyone who is helping this happen!! Kelley Bassett and myself are so grateful!!
