We know it’s been quiet here lately, but our mission hasn’t wavered. Our hearts remain with Palestine and with everyone experiencing oppression and genocide.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been dreaming up future events, and we’re excited to bring more free community programming back soon!

To do that, we need YOU. 🙏

We’re on the hunt for venues!!Ideally low-cost or free spaces where we can host regular community events. Finding that top-tier free venue is our #1 goal right now.

Tickets are selling fast for Cuba After Castro at Jengo's Playhouse.

At a time when Cuba faces increased economic hardship under the weight of decades of U.S. sanctions and blockade, it is more important than ever to hear directly from Cubans themselves. Through a rare, in depth interview with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and perspectives from people living in Cuba, this film offers an opportunity to engage with voices and viewpoints that are rarely heard in the United States.

Join us for homemade Palestinian food, a silent auction supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Cuba, the screening, and a live Q and A with director Abby Martin herself!

We have already sold most of the available tickets, so be sure to reserve your seat before they're gone!

Join us Saturday, June 27th for a screening of Cuba After Castro, followed by a live Q&A with Abby Martin.

What Cuba is going through affects us all. The daily challenges Cuban people face are ones Palestinians can relate to too — this is about freedom and equality for everyone. Help us bring awareness to this beautiful country and its people.

Doors open at 12:30 PM with delicious food before the film. We’ll also have a silent auction, with all proceeds going to direct aid for Cuba.

🎬 CUBA AFTER CASTRO is coming to Wilmington.

Abby Martin’s new documentary is built around the first extensive interview a U.S. journalist has ever gotten with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel. It takes you onto the island to see a people holding the line under blockade, sanctions, and blackouts — defiant in the face of an empire that has spent sixty years trying to break them. As Washington turns its attention back to the island, their resistance has never mattered more.

Last week, we attended a screening of "Coexistence, My Ass!", a documentary highlighting an Israeli comedian and activist, Noam Schuster-Eliassi. The film displayed her efforts to call out inequality and hatred against Palestinians while using both humor and protests to work towards peace. We laughed, we cried. Thanks to Jengo's Playhouse in downtown Wilmington for hosting us, and shoutout to the ILM Ceasefire Choir who sang before the screening.
