🍋💛 A LITTLE LEMONADE, A LOT OF LOVE 💛🍋

Cpl. Wasko’s daughter, Aubrey, put together a lemonade stand fundraiser to benefit Nemours Children’s Hospital, in honor of a fellow member’s daughter who recently faced cancer treatments for the second time.

What started as a simple idea from this young girl is a beautiful reminder of what family is all about. When one of our own is going through something difficult, we don’t just stand by and watch — we come together. We support each other. We become even closer.

In good times and difficult times, our FOP family is there for one another. Aubrey wanted to do her part to help other children and families who are facing their own battles, and we couldn’t be more proud of her!

Because of everyone’s incredible generosity and support, Aubrey was able to donate:

🚗 9 Little Tikes cars
🍼 50 baby dolls
🦷 24 snuggle teethers
🎨 16 Play-Doh kits
🌈 64 tubs of Play-Doh
🖊️ 10 gel pen kits
📚 10 teen coloring books
🧸 12 blankets
🌈 3 ring stackers
👶 12 baby toys
🖍️ 24 boxes of crayons
📖 24 kids’ coloring books
🦸 16 Marvel characters
🧱 10 LEGO sets
🎲 12 board games

Thank you, Aubrey, for reminding us what kindness, compassion, and family are all about. ❤️

Last night wrapped up the final day of the DE Law enforcement thank you ride. Members pedaled the final 73 miles of the total 140 mile trek starting at DSP Troop 6 to Dewey Beach. What an honor is was for the riders to carry on the names of our fallen brothers and sister and show they will never be forgotten for paying the ultimate sacrifice.
