On October 25th and 26th, the Valley of Wilmington held its Fall Reunion in memory of Dalton W. Mayo, 33°, Past Grand Master. It started off with a memorial service held by SGIG A. Gene Cobb, 33° along with David Wicker, 33° PGM; Charles Ingram, 33° PGM; and Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina, Phil Johnson, 32° KCCH.

We were also fortunate to have Dalton's sister and two nieces with us on the 26th for lunch. Eddie Gaskins, 33°, Director of the Work, Emeritus, gave a summary of Dalton's Masonic career and reflected on memories that were made over the years.

We are excited to welcome our newest Masters of the Royal Secret: Tony Strickland, 32°; Jerry Davis, 32°; Richard Bandy, 32°; Keith Ayers, 32°; Jason Blackwell, 32°; Mike Murphy, 32°; Ashley Holland, 32°; Harold Nobles, 32°; & Brandon Edens, 32°.

Rite Care Clinic Tour Report: Several brethren (and one wife) enjoyed a wonderful tour and great discussion about the great care being delivered to kids (although they serve adults too) at our Rite Care partner … the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic at East Carolina University on Friday (after we enjoyed some fellowship over lunch). The staff and facilities are all great. Our charitable contributions help kids with primarily speech and language challenges there with amazing results. As a teaching hospital, students are involved in seeing nearly all patients. They see 15-45+ patients per day! Try to visit when you can.
