What a weekend with my sweet Ava Cooper, our Ava Cooper!!

This one started by finding the perfect cocktail dress with my sweet friends at Affair to Remember, and ended by celebrating one incredible woman as she took her final walk as Miss South Carolina Volunteer.

If there’s one thing this organization has given me beyond the crown, it’s friendship. Ava, you have become one of my very best friends through this journey, and I truly cannot imagine this year without you! Watching your passion, dedication, and heart for serving South Carolina has made me so so proud. More than anything, I’m thankful for the genuine friendship we’ve built through pageantry- a friendship I know will last far beyond our titles.

It was also such a joy to meet the new Miss Georgia Teen Volunteer, Miss Georgia Volunteer, and Miss Alabama Volunteer (even if we forgot to take a picture! 🤍). Wishing each of you the very best as you begin this unforgettable year. You’re going to do amazing things!

Volunteer has reminded me that while titles may be temporary, the people you meet along the way become part of your story forever.

Today I had the honor of taking my official Miss North Carolina Volunteer portraits with the incredibly talented Renee Sprinks, and I already know these are going to be so so special. I cannot wait to share them with you all!

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been celebrating and supporting women-owned businesses who have poured their hearts into mine. From my stunning red Jovani talent gown from 👗MCKENZIE JADE’S👗, to my white Jovani evening gown from An Affair to Remember Prom, Pageant & Formal Wear, and these beautiful portraits by Renee Sprink Portraits, I am so grateful for the amazing women who have helped bring this dream to life. And a honorable mention of course, a huge thank you to Erik Gotelli for making sure my hair was absolutely perfect today!

As this season of serving as Miss North Carolina Volunteer begins to wind down, it’s impossible not to feel a little bittersweet. While this chapter may soon come to a close, the impact that the Miss Volunteer America Organization has had on my life will last forever. The people I’ve met, the purpose, the friendships all over our nation, and the memories have shaped me in ways I could have never imagined. ❤️

Took a trip to Miss North Carolina & Miss North Carolina’s Teen !! 🩵

Walking back into the Miss North Carolina pageant this year as Miss North Carolina Volunteer was such a full-circle moment. Just last year, I was competing in the Teen division! Dreaming big and admiring the incredible young women around me. To return this year and be welcomed with so much love and excitement by those same girls filled my heart.

Pageantry has given me some of my greatest friendships, countless memories, and a community of women who cheer for one another through every season of life. I’m so grateful to have spent the weekend celebrating these amazing contestants and watching them chase their biggest dreams. No matter where life takes us, this sisterhood is something I’ll always cherish forever. 🩵

Sharing a national stage with some of the most talented women in the country was an honor in itself, but being recognized with a Preliminary Talent Award is a moment in time I will cherish forever. 🤍

This moment is the result of years of dedication. The countless hours in practice rooms, private voice lessons, academic training, and a deep love for classical music that has shaped so much of who I am.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has invested in me along the way. To be able to represent North Carolina doing what I love most was already a dream come true and this recognition makes it even more special. 🤍

I would not be here without the people above. So thankful for this incredible opportunity to share my love of classical music on the Miss Volunteer America stage. A dream come true🥹

A huge thank you to Jeff Phillips for being such an incredible coach, mentor, and supporter throughout my pageant journey. Thank you for pushing me to be the very BEST version of myself in my talent and for believing in me every step of the way. But most importantly, thank you for being one of the reasons I took a leap of faith into pageantry in the first place. I am so grateful for your guidance, encouragement, generosity and friendship.❤️
