The Azalea Festival Youth Committee “AFYC” is a leadership organization for local high school students in Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover Counties. The Azalea Festival Youth Committee develops a wonderful sense of community, as well as organizational, teamwork and leadership skills that make this program a success. AFYC is led by a four-person board that holds office for one year: President, Vi

ce President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These board members are liaisons for several committees composed of AFYC members.

Right after the Queen’s Coronation, our AFYC went downtown to wrap “No Parking” signs in preparation for the Azalea Festival Parade! ❤️

🌺Last AFYC Meeting of the Season!🌺

We’re starting the month of the Festival off right! Meeting will take place April 1st (Wednesday) at 6 PM in the upstairs conference room of the Wilmington Jungle Rapids! The Azalea Festival President is joining us and there’ll be pizza 🍕!

Don’t forget to check in about your Official Party points so you can take part in special Festival Week fun and continue checking the SignupGenius link (🔗 in bio) for volunteer spot openings!
