Sam Ions keeps his incredible streak alive by adding a 2nd place finish at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, only 0.7 seconds separating him from gold.

We can’t wait to cheer him on at the national championships in Sarasota in just a few weeks! 🌴

50 athletes. One team. One unforgettable weekend for WYRA.

Our athletes gave everything they had at the USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships fighting for every seat, every stroke, and every finish line.

Huge congratulations to Sam for winning the Men’s Youth 1x 🥇 and to Ronan & Aiden for taking bronze in the Men’s Youth 2- 🥉 Both boats are headed to the USRowing Youth National Championships in Florida 🌴

Our Women’s Novice 4+s battled through tough racing to finish 2nd and 3rd, bringing home more hardware and showing the depth of this team 🥉🥈

This weekend was about more than medals, it was about commitment, grit, teamwork, and the countless hours these athletes put in all season long. Every rower, coxswain, coach, parent and supporter played a part in making this spring season special.

A great result last weekend at the City Championships in Philadelphia.
Sam Ions won the Boys Varsity Single Scull event, racing for Tower Hill School but trained by WYRA!
Also a big shout out to Christophe Mills his coach at WYRA, another great result for both the school and the club!

Took on Mercer Lake Sprints and lined up with some of the most competitive programs in the country. Big racing, big learning, and a great day on the water filled with smiles, laughter, and great energy.
Huge congrats to Aiden and Ronan on taking silver in the Men’s Varsity 2–
