Charities we have worked with:

Haiti Family Initiative- collected over 500 summer dresses, bras and other pieces of clothing
Shoes2Share- collected over 700 pairs of shoes as well as participated in their 2-mile walk,raised donation $
The Friendship House's Clothing Bank of Delaware- collected over 250 winter coats and handed out information pamphlets
St. Francis Nursing Home- spent an afternoon

decorating cookies with residents. Donated 83 lap blankets, 16 filled stockings, quarters for BINGO and Christmas decorations. Stockings For Soldiers-
170- cards and letters to soldiers and over 1,000 pieces of donated goodies to fill stockings
Ronald McDonald House Delaware- cooked casseroles and collected donations for residents
Special Olympics Delaware- Team of 20 pulled 100,000 C-130, won The Spirit Award and donated $2,000
Ronald McDonald House- Participating in the Run 4 The House 5K, 34 runners and donated over $1,000
Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula- "Help Japan Bloom Again" benefit raised over $3300
Kent County SPCA-Stuf and SUV "Baby Shower", collected 100's of pounds of food and supplies
Ronald McDonald House-cooked breakfast and casseroles
State of Delaware Adopt A Student- collected over 4,000 school supplies for Delaware's most needy students
Delaware Humane Association- collect much needed pet food and supplies. Beach and Park Clean Up at Battery Park, New Castle, Delaware. Stockings for Soldiers-Collected over 900 holiday card and letter drive for soldiers overseas. Cookies for Hometown Heroes-Members baked and delivered cookies to our communities' firefighters, police officers, crossing guards, etc. AI DuPont Children's Hospital-Assist the Child Life Team with a Fun and Games Afternoon. Formal Dress Project-Collected over 50 formal dresses, shoes, accessories and handbags for needy students to attend their proms. The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation-Positively 80's Mom Prom, 200 attendees, raised over $7000. Also....

Wingmom is looking for help from restaurants and food service establishments to participate in a fundraiser benefiting Delaware Hospice. Participation can be one day or the whole week and we are asking for 5% to 10% of proceeds. All proceeds will be mailed directly to Delaware Hospice.

In addition to a large social media campaign that includes Delaware Hospice, Wingmom and Brandywine Buzz followers, your information will also be sent to an email lists of over 10,000 Delaware residents. Volunteers are needed for the Pawpaw Folk Festival! This is a family-friendly event on August 10th that celebrates the natural and cultural resources of Alapocas Run State Park. We’re currently looking for volunteers for a variety of duties, including (but not limited to) helping set up, running a table of kids craft activities, serving pawpaw pulp samples and directing traffic.

The Fire & Ice Mom Prom has been rescheduled!

New Date: FRIDAY JUNE 14

Rescheduling the Prom was not a decision that was made lightly but necessary in order to provide you the extraordinary experience that we have for the past 7 years. The RCH Mom Prom is put on entirely of volunteers who have put their hearts and souls into making this event amazing every year. We have worked with Harry’s, our DJ, and our vendors and sponsors to make sure we can bring you the event that you deserve and help raise funds and awareness for the amazing mission of Mom’s House of Wilmington!
