We are excited to share that Delaware will be sending 16 student leaders to the Best Buddies Leadership Conference (BBLC) this year!

Students from McKean, Smyrna, Appoquinimink, Middletown, the University of Delaware, and more will join peers from across the WORLD to learn how to build and sustain successful Best Buddies chapters, strengthen their disability advocacy efforts, and develop leadership skills that will make a lasting impact in their schools and communities.

We are proud to see such strong representation from Best Buddies Delaware and grateful for the opportunity to invest in these future leaders.

Since being matched in 2023, Sharees’e and Jo have built a friendship full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories through Best Buddies. From arcade adventures and mall trips to chapter lunches and special events, the two are always making the most of their time together. Their bond is a beautiful example of connection, support, and genuine friendship 💜

We are also incredibly proud of Sharees’e for bravely singing the National Anthem in front of 350 + people at the Best Buddies Walk, inspiring everyone in attendance. Together, Sharees’e and Jo continue to spread positivity and show what Best Buddies is all about!
