The CFMA is a nonprofit organization comprised of physician spouses residing in New Hanover and Pender Counties

A charitable organization comprised of physician spouses dedicated to improving health and quality of life through community service, advocacy and fundraising. As a partner to the New Hanover/Pender County Medical Society, the Cape Fear Medical Alliance is also committed to supporting physician spouses and physicians, as well as physicians in training and spouses of physicians in training

Thanks for a great night this past Wednesday 08/30 celebrating the 150 Year Celebration of the New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society at Cape Fear Country Club ... great to see many Cape Fear Medical Alliance members sharing memories of years past!

Jennifer Lynn Moyer Adams and Rick Reichow had a very enjoyable day by providing the materials for another Born Learning Trail through the Cape Fear Medical Alliance.

With a partnership with United Way-Cape Fear Region, City of Burgaw Parks and Recreation, and Cape Fear Community College students we were able set this up very efficiently.

The Born Learning Trail is an educational opportunity for children to learn through play with their parents.

CFMA assists another student in the UNC-W School of Nursing. The Jean Jordan Nursing Scholarship has helped this nursing student to graduate this semester. Congratulations!!

The Cape Fear Medical Alliance was a Celebration Of Life sponsor for Lower Cape Fear Hospices White Pants Gala and represented by our President Karen Bonardi Hester and our Vice-President Rick Reichow.

The event was a huge success and raised a significant amount of money for an organization that positively impacts so many lives each year.

Cape Fear Medical Alliance joined in on the New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society Board Retreat on Sunday.
Great planning regarding some joint activities and building on the alignment between the two groups. We're looking forward to 2015!!!

We sponsored another family of four in need.

The children are 16, 15, 14, and 5. Jackets, shoes, socks, underwear, and art supplies will be under the tree.

The Lower Cape Fear Palliative Care Team and Hospice Liaisons donated an additional $800 of clothes and gifts.

Our collaborative effort is sure to make a great Christmas for this family!
