During National CNA Week, we are especially grateful for the more than 80 Certified Nursing Assistants who serve patients and families across the communities we call home.

From Wilmington to Whiteville, Grand Strand to Jacksonville, and many places in between, these amazingly compassionate teammates bring comfort and kindness to patients each day. They are often the familiar faces who help with personal care, offer a listening ear, and share a smile.

To all of our LifeCare CNAs: thank you for the difference you make in the lives of so many patients and families. We are grateful for you today and every day.

It was an honor to participate in the Lumbee Tribe Veteran Stand Down in Pembroke this past weekend.

More than 250 veterans attended the event, which included a free catered lunch, health screenings, haircuts, and access to more than 30 organizations offering services and support for veterans.

Our team was proud to share information about Lower Cape Fear LifeCare and our We Honor Veterans program, which recognizes the unique experiences and needs of those who have served our country. We also enjoyed raffling off a patriotic America 250 gift basket.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this meaningful event possible. Most of all, thank you to the veterans whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us. 🇺🇸
