Sojourners’ Place is looking for volunteers to help in a few areas:

🖥️ Front Desk – Greet visitors, answer phones and help keep things running smoothly.
📱 Social Media – Help us share news, activities and stories from Sojourners’ Place. Like this post here 🙂
🎉 Resident Activities – Help plan and support games, crafts, workshops and other activities for our residents.

No experience is required, just a willingness to help. Whether you have an hour a week or a little more time to give, we’d love to hear from you.

It takes a village, and we’re incredibly grateful for ours! 💙 A huge thank you to the volunteers, board members and Sojourners’ Place residents who showed up, pitched in and helped make Saturday’s 5K Run/Walk at Rockford Park a success.

From planning to cleanup and everything in between, your time, energy and willingness to help kept the day running smoothly, even in the wet weather. Thank you for showing up for Sojourners’ Place and for our community. We couldn’t have done it without you!

A little rain didn't dampen our spirits! ☔🏃‍♀️🏃

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Rockford Park on Saturday for the Sojourners’ Place 5K Run/Walk. Despite a little wet weather, we had a great turnout and a lot of fund supporting a great cause.

Whether you came out to run, walk, cheer or volunteer, we are so grateful for your support. Your participation helps Sojourners’ Place continue its important work in our community.

Bring the kids and join us September 26 at the Hope 4 the Homeless 5K supporting Sojourners' Place. Kids ages 5-12 can register for $15, and children ages 0-4 are free. Our Kids' Fun Run starts at 10:30 a.m.

🍅 A Garden Honoring Gus

When Boy Scout Gus Sargent passed away, his parents wanted something lasting in his memory. His close friend Josh took on rebuilding Sojourners' vegetable garden as his Eagle Scout project. This spring, Troop 33 built a new fence, refurbished the beds, and replanted them. We have been enjoying tomatoes from it all summer long!

The garden is now formally dedicated to Gus, a reminder of a young man honored through service. Thank you, Troop 33, for this incredible gift. 💚

✨ Light Up the Night was a night to remember! ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Waterfall in Claymont for our annual Light Up the Night Fundraiser! It was incredible to see our residents, board members, staff, volunteers, and sponsors come together to support Sojourners Place.
