The Peace Resource Center at Wilmington College is a campus and community center that promotes peace through educational programming related to conflict resolution, positive discipline, and peer mediation. Barbara Reynolds, founder of the Peace Resource Center, devoted the major portion of her life to the effort of bringing to the world the message of the hibakusha (A-bomb survivors) that there must never again be a Hiroshima or a Nagasaki anywhere in the world. Barbara's collection of documentary films, books, photographs and research files on the atomic bombings are preserved and made available to the public through the Wilmington College Peace Resource Center.

‘26 alumni’ Bradley Brown is currently serving as an intern at the Asian Rural Institute in northern Japan, an experience made possible by donors of the Peace Resource Center at Wilmington College Bradley writes: “This week has offered a lot, from working with goats (getting to milk them too!) to receiving a crash course on the importance of biodiversity and soil management. We completed this months deep dorm cleaning, and making some strides in the admissions office. I’ve also volunteered to take on a temporary role in the men’s dorm committee! We’ve also had some very interesting morning gatherings, people sharing their personal stories and experiences with nature.” Bradley, we are cheering you on, and hope that you and all those at ARI are able to rest and relax after many long days of hard work.
