Exercise is a proven method of reducing cancer risk but doing it during treatment may be overwhelming if you feel fatigued. Even 10 minutes of walking, stretching or chair yoga are ways to stay active and stimulate your muscles. When your energy is best, try to get a few minutes of movement in, it can help you manage fatigue and sleep better.

We partner with Savor Health to provide you free access to nutritional support. Breast cancer treatment doesn’t just affect your body—it can impact how you feel, think, and move through your day.

Side effects like fatigue, nausea, and brain fog are real. And managing them isn’t about “pushing through”—it’s about finding what helps you get through. A few reminders:
• It’s okay to rest more than usual
• It’s okay to ask for help
• It’s okay if your body feels different right now

You deserve support at every stage—not just during treatment, but beyond it.

At Going Beyond the Pink, we’re here to walk alongside you with resources, community, and care that sees the whole you.

We've got you! No one should have to skip a life-saving mammogram because they can't afford it. That's why Going Beyond the Pink created the Mammogram Access Fund providing FREE mammograms to uninsured individuals in New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties here in Coastal NC.
Early detection is one of the most powerful tools we have in the fight against breast cancer, and we believe access to that tool shouldn't depend on insurance status.
If you or someone you know is uninsured and needs a mammogram, please reach out to our team:
