The Room Makeover Contest for the youth in foster care has ended. We have some very special entries and would like your help to decide on the winner!!!

Why a Room Makeover Contest? Matthew West in his song, "Do Something" has a great answer. Note, lyrics are not in order.
'If not us then who...If not me and you? If not now, then when...Will we see an end too all this pain?
It's not enough to do nothing, It's time for us to do something. Right now! It's time for us to do something!'

Here are some youth who need an end to their pain.

The number of youth in foster care has decreased, but it remains high. As of September 2012, there were just under 400,000 children in foster care in the US. *

In Delaware, currently there are about 630 youth in foster care and over 100 age out every year. It may seem like a small number, but remember it represents 630 lives that are precious in God's eyes.

Youth who do not get placed with a non-relative or relative family are place in group homes or institutions. Mostly due to the lack of safe and loving foster homes, stats from 2012 show the more than 58,000 youth live in group homes or institutions.
