Come to Wilmington for a magical evening with Keenan McKenzie and the Riffers! Join for just the dance or come early for an intro Collegiate S**g workshop and an intermediate Lindy Hop workshop, this will be a full day of Swing Dancing

All events are held at the Hannah Block USO and Community Arts Center (120 S 2nd St. Wilmington, NC 28401)

You can buy tickets separately or buy the whole day for a discounted $60
12 PM to 2 PM Beginners Collegiate S**g Workshop with Camille - $25
3 PM to 5 PM Lindy Hop Workshop with Camille and Kiffer: Dessert first! Get your technique elsewhere, this is all fun moves and variations! - $25

6:30pm - 7:30pm Intro to Lindy Hop *Beginner Friendly, no Partner Needed, this class is included in the cost of the social dance
New to swing dancing? This is the lesson for you. We will cover simple swing dance moves to get you out on the dance floor!

7:30pm - 10:30pm Live Band Dance with Keenan McKenzie and the Riffers - $20
Keenan McKenzie and the Riffers are one of the best swing dance bands in the country, playing for such events as Bal Love in Prague, Lindy Focus in Asheville, and I Heart Bal in Richmond. This is a can't miss band!

Wilmington, NC. This is a 3 part Lindy Hop swing dance class on Thursdays, an hour of class and an hour of social dancing afterwards. Note that our Thursday classes are a progressive series, if you are a beginner dancer you will have to make it to the first class (the first Thursday of each month) or you will miss important information and be behind in class.

This series focuses on musicality and texture, how to make your dancing feel more in tune with the music and your partner instead of a list of moves. This is encouraging the leads and the follows to feel the music and the dance, and either take the moment to shine by themselves or encourage the partnership to break from the basics together to hit the music.

No partner needed, beginner friendly- beginners please make sure to make it to the first class of the series to learn the basic footwork

Located downstairs in the Historic USO building in downtown Wilmington, at Orange and 2nd St
Per class $10, or pre-pay for all 3 classes for only $20! Cash and venmo at the door
We suggest clothes that are comfortable to exercise in and if you can wear shoes that are not too grippy on the floor that will make any spins and movement easier! Feel free to reach out or ask any additional questions that would make you more comfortable getting started with swing dancing or showing up for your first class!

For the Sunday Farewell Dance at Wrightsville Beach Park we are offering a free shuttle from Mad Mole Brewing (6309 Boathouse Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403) from 1:45PM to 5:45PM. They are an amazing brewery that focuses on the environment, sustainability, and community. Please support them if you feel thirsty.

The food truck Gustu Peruano will be at Mad Mole Brewing from 4 to 7, if you're hungry after the dance check them out for some good Peruvian food!
