Our mission is to create a musical learning environment for children to enjoy and to be an integral part in children's higher academics. Our program is a unique blend of keyboard/piano lessons and vocal lessons that are both exciting and productive. This program was founded on the belief that music stimulates the part of the brain that relates to reading math and emotional development. An increase
d learning in math and reading has been shown with grade school music students. A study conducted by the public schools of Albuquerque, NM founded that music students, with two or more years of study, scored significantly higher in the California Test of Basic Skills (CTBS), compared to non-music students. Music education also helps high school students to achieve greater academic excellence. According to a study by Missio Veijo High School in Southern California (1981), the overall grade point average (GPA) of music students is consistently higher than the GPA of their peers who weren't exposed to music education. The College Entrance Examination Board at Princeton NJ (1999) reports that music students perform better verbal portion of the test and 42 points higher in math that students without music education.
