💡HUD updates Fair Market Rents (FMR) based on how much typical rental prices are changing in each area. They look at what a moderately priced rental usually costs and adjust FMRs to match those local rent trends. Rising FMR generally indicates tightening rental supply or increasing demand.

🏘️For Fiscal Year 2027, the median county two-bedroom FMR in North Carolina is $1,145.

🎉This week's Agency Spotlight: Eden Village of Wilmington!🎉

💡Eden Village is doing more than imagining a city where no one sleeps outside.

💪Powered by dedicated volunteers and guided by an experienced professional team, Eden Village builds supportive communities for people who have experienced chronic homelessness.

🏘️Residents can choose to live indefinitely in their neighborhood of 31 pedestrian-only tiny homes. Each unit rents for a flat rate of $300 per month, and residents receive access to support services, a strong community network, and a home team that meets with them monthly.
