If you're in Wilmington and have any free time tomorrow, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! Nourish NC is an awesome organization that gives food to kids who rely on school lunches and don't always have food to go home to. They got a huge donation from the hospital's food drive and really need help sorting it tomorrow! If you have any free time tomorrow and are interested, let us know! :)

Do you want to make a difference in the fight against hunger with just $15 and a Saturday afternoon? If so, you can help with the Stop Hunger Now packaging event at the New Hanover Gym on Saturday, April 8th from 10-2! Stop Hunger Now is enormously impactful, the meals volunteers put together provide nutrition for people all over the world. At just $0.29 a meal, the $15 that it costs to volunteer will buy about 50 meals, half a month's worth of food, and 50 instances where people won't have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. If you'd like to learn more about Stop Hunger Now (now called Rise Against Hunger) you can visit their website to see what they're doing, how they're doing it, and why this cause is so important.

Tonight we'll be going to Feeding Tuesdays at First Baptist Church to serve food from 6 - 9:30. The address is 411 Market St. It will be a great way to help fight hunger locally and a lot of fun! If anyone is interested in coming and has any questions, send us a message or contact us at 910-705-2364. We'd love to see you there and if you need a ride we'd be happy to give you one!

We'll be volunteering at First Baptist Church's Feeding Tuesdays tonight from 6-9:30!
We'll be going to First Baptist Church for the soup kitchen from about 6-7 (411 Market St). Around 7 we'll be driving to the Lord's Church for the food pantry that will be from 7-9:30 (1502 E Lake Shore Dr).

Cowspiracy is a documentary that shows the impact the meat industry has, particularly on the environment and the availability of food. Reducing your meat consumption can make a huge difference in the lives of other people by increasing food availability. For anyone that's interested in buying tickets, we'll be selling them throughout this week!
We'll be at the Stop Hunger Now rally at the amphitheater on Wednesday from about 11 to 12:45 and we'll be in Fisher Union by the post office from about 2 to 3 on Friday. You can also come the night of the event and buy tickets at the door. If you would like to buy one before but aren't available at these times send us a message!
