Save the Date! Art in the Park is back and its going to be epic this year. Something for everyone! A bigger variety of artwork! Live music in the Barn! It's our new fall fundraiser for FOWP. Join us Friday October 9th, 6:30pm for a great evening of dancing, art, yummy food and fun! Keep an eye out for details soon!

It's the last summer concert of 2026. It's been a record-breaking series with nice crowds and great vibes so let's end the season with a bang! We have Maya Belardo on deck for Monday. She offers cool jazz for a lovely evening at Rockford Park. Zaikka on Wheels will be on hand with Indian food options and Cajun Sno will have snow cones for sale. As always, FOWP will have Wilmington Brew Works beer for sale. Bring your chairs, friends and family and enjoy!

Great News! These events are scheduled to be held outside at the Sugar Bowl, but if we do have rain, we are excited to say that we will be moving them indoors at the Blue Ball Barn. No need to wait to buy tickets until the weather reports come out. Go ahead and get them now!

Sadly, tonight's the Summer Concert at Rockford Park has been cancelled. The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for our area. Stay dry everyone and join us next week for our final concert of the series.

Sweet soul on a summer night in the park....is there anything better? Gretchen Emery Band will be bringing the vibes to the Delaware State Parks Summer Concert Series at Rockford Park on Monday. Natalies Fine Foods will be serving everything from flavorful gourmet tacos to attention-grabbing loaded fries and mouthwatering sandwiches for purchase. Cajun Sno will offer dessert options for sale. Don’t forget FOWP will be selling Wilmington Brew Works beer and running a 50/50.

Summer Concerts are winding down - just two more to go. Take advantage of these last days of summer fun at the Rockford Park Concert Stage and join us Monday night.

This fall Delaware Shakespeare is taking their annual summer show on the road. We are excited to be one of the stops on their Community Tour which offers theater in unexpected places - like the Sugar Bowl! This rapid comedic romp transports you through all 36 of the Bard's plays in under 100 minutes. Complete Works barrels through the tragedies, comedies, and histories with pop culture references, physical comedy and audience interaction, a fun celebration of Shakespeare in our park!

It's a great opportunity to experience a whole evening of entertainment with live theater, dinner and drinks. Bring your chairs, pre order a boxed dinner delivered to you at the event and grab a Wilmington Brew Works beer or glass of wine for a relaxed evening in the park. Introducing the Sugar Bowl Sessions - an opportunity to experience live performance at the iconic Sugar Bowl in Brandywine Park. On Friday, September 11th, we will be partnering with Delaware Shakespeare to present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (revised) (again), a rollicking run through all of Shakespeare's plays in 111 minutes. On Thursday, September 24th its Comedy Night at the Sugar Bowl with Fearless Improve and Hot Breakfast! bringing the laughs. These casual evenings are a fun way to enjoy theater in the parks. Bring your chairs, pre-order a boxed dinner that will be waiting for you at check in and grab an adult beverage and relax!
