Thank you to the Roasted Bookery for an amazing evening , the Burnett-Eaton Museum Foundation, along with the attendees, we enjoyed the discussion with Terah Shelton Harris on her National Book Tour, "where the wildflowers grow." She dropped so many seeds of wisdom, "Bloom where you are planted." Terah Shelton Harris is an author worth following. I cannot loan my book. Support our local community Book Store, Roasted Bookery.

The Burnett-Eaton Museum's Founder and Executive Director, Islah Speller, dressed in African-American regalia visited WRAPP, an after-school youth program in New Hanover County, to commemorate Black History, Culture and to educate young people about the separation of plasma from red blood cells through an interactive egg demonstration.
This initiative highlights the vital role of blood in sustaining life and honors Dr. Charles Drew, known as the 'Father of the Blood Bank,' and his pioneering work in blood plasma preservation and numerous of lives being saved today..

A special thank you to the Youth for their attention, questions, answers and participation.
