The numbers are in- our participating schools diverted 71,740 pounds of food waste from the trash this year! Huge thanks to all the students and staff who keep the cafeteria compost routine running every day 💚

We will be able to grow into a handful of new schools in 2026-2027. If you’re in New Hanover County and you’re interested in learning more about implementing G2G next year, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

We had such a good time at our first Repair Café event that we are holding another one on Saturday, June 6 from 1-4 at the Arboretum.
