On May 14, Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington celebrated the Class of 2026 at this year's Decision Day!

From college acceptances to apprenticeships to stepping into the workforce, our students boldly shared their plans for the future. Every announcement represented years of hard work, determination, and dreams becoming reality. The energy of the day was unforgettable, and the support from classmates, staff, and families made the day even more special.

Her presence at brought a distinct warmth, joy, and authenticity to the experience, creating unforgettable moments for our guests and highlighting the power of food to bring people together for a greater purpose.

There’s been something special about watching these tables fill up throughout this year’s Community Dinner Series.

For this gathering with Spoonfed Kitchen & Bakeshop and Ballentine Vineyards, guests settled in over thoughtfully composed plates, standout wines, and conversations that lingered well beyond dessert.

To everyone who pulled up a chair during this year’s Community Dinner Series, thank you. We’ve loved every moment of it and are excited to share a few new things we’ve been working on soon!

One of the many things we’ll take away from this year’s Community Dinner Series is just how meaningful it is to gather around the same table.

Each course introduced something unexpected, while every wine brought its own character to the table.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for making the night so engaging, welcoming, and full of joy. These dinners are built around connection, and this gathering delivered exactly that.

Earlier this month, the NC Charter School Review Board granted GLOW Academy a 10-year charter renewal—the longest renewal period a charter school can receive. This milestone affirms our strong academic performance, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

Even more special, this comes as we celebrate 10 years of empowering girls through rigorous academics, leadership development, and a whole-girl approach to education..
