Our summer lesson sign ups were released today! ☀️ We are excited to offer both weekday AND Saturday lessons this year. You can find all the sign ups at the link below. We do ask that you only sign up for ONE session right now in order to give as many people as possible a chance to experience our lesson program.

We are thrilled to partner up with the guards from Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue this summer! They will be assisting with our lesson program while looking for potential future junior guards to join their program. Excited to work with this great group! 🛟

“This summer, WBOR’s Community Engagement team will partner with the NSEA Swim Foundation. Each member has committed at least 20 hours of service, working with youth from underserved communities to help increase diversity in swimming and foster a more inclusive environment at every level. Recently the team volunteered 30 hours completing Red Cross Water Safety Instructor training, equipping them to teach youth in aquatic environments.

Led by 4th-year Guard Anna Newman, nine WBOR members are leading this year’s Community Engagement Program. Since launching in 2024, the program has more than doubled in size.

We’re grateful for this team and their dedication to drowning prevention and advancing equity in and around the water!”
