Hello Residents

Just got off a call and a contractor has been hired by the parks department to come in and clean up the park. As soon as I get a start date. I will let you know.

As far as park restoration we are looking at the end of 2027 into 2028 due to permits from federal government take 9 to 12 months for FEMA.

We are having ever other month meetings with all parties involved. As I get the information I will pass it on.

Cleaning out shed as being demolished. Free stuff at curb side. Tomato cages, tomato cage Xmas trees with lights all different flower pots. First come first serve.

Hello Residents

Thank you for all the residents that paid there dues and paid more than we asked for.

122 houses paid their dues which is 52% of the residents paid and we collected $4,900.

Hopefully we will not have the same winter we had last year as we will again havd to dip into savings as we still have to pay monthly electric bill and island maintenance.

If this continues the Santa Visits , Easter Egg Hunt, Salting and Xmas Decoration contest will havd to be discontinued.

Hello Residents

Today is the closing day of Civic Association dues. Please venmo or drop off payment at the address included in the letter.

We are at 103 houses paid.

Hi Residents

We are up to 91 houses that have paid their dues and the total is $2500 short of what we paid out for salting and plowing last year total plowing off $6200.

We will definitely be cutting back on salting next year and potentially plowing because again we will have to dip into our saves by another $2500. That cuts our savings account in half.

If people did not pay etc we would have had a bigger deficit.

June 23rd is the cut off date. We will be making another deposit early next week.

Hello residents

We still have a little over a week before the books are closed for the dues. One deposit will go in tomorrow and another final one the following week.

85 houses have paid their dues out of over 200 houses. That is not even 40%. Thanks to another of residents that paid extra but we are no where near how much we paid out for plowing.

Again this is not sustainable so we may have be more selective on plowing this winter as we have other monthly bills we have to pay.

Hello Residents

We have been advised by the County Executive office that the park restoration project is on hold. That is all the information I have right now and just got this information today.

As far as cleaning up all the trees that were cut down and left was forwarded to Parks department but no response yet.
