Earlier this month at the Academic Decathlon at Claymont, our members battled through Math, Economics, Language Arts, Art, Social Studies, Science, Essays, Speech, Music, and Interviews. In the end, our girls claimed the victory and earned the ultimate G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) title!

Members at our H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club took home first place at their recent robotics competition! With a perfect 10/10 score on their Technical Logic Defense, they secured an impressive win. 🤖🏆
Robotics programming helps our members build valuable technical skills they can carry into successful futures. Congratulations to the Brown Bear team! 🎉👏

It's a Youth of the Year reunion! To prepare for the regional competition in just a few weeks, our 2026 Youth of the Year winner, Rashid, was in good company!

The former winners included Delsy M. (2010), Shianne R. (2023), Orlando R. (2022) and Brandon Rogers (2025). Each helped Rashid work through interview questions, discuss how to connect with other finalists in the region, and how to have fun!

We're thankful for such a strong network of past winners who continue to stay involved and give back to the next generation of leaders!

Throughout this experience, our participants showed dedication, creativity, teamwork, and a passion for learning new culinary skills. From preparing delicious dishes to building confidence in the kitchen, each graduate should be incredibly proud of all they accomplished.
