⚠️ NC Water Alert Wrightsville Beach: State officials are warning swimmers to steer clear of three coastal spots after bacteria levels exceeded state and EPA standards
Wrightsville Beach’s Banks Channel (Waynick/Nathan Ave), plus two Bogue Sound sites in Morehead City. A separate non-profit, Sound Rivers, also flagged failed tests at multiple Pamlico and Neuse River sites this week. High bacteria = increased risk of GI illness and skin infections. Check before you dip in this weekend. 🌊
