🌊💙Our Safety Around Water event gave children and families in Wilmington the opportunity to build confidence, learn essential water safety skills, and practice life-saving techniques in a fun, supportive environment. From floating and safe entries to learning what to do in an emergency, every lesson helps create safer swimmers and stronger communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making water safety a priority. Together, we're helping kids stay safe, confident, and ready to enjoy the water all year long! 🏊

We officially broke ground today on the expansion of the Midtown YMCA!

More than 100 community members and partners joined us to celebrate. This project brings a new indoor pool, wellness center, expanded child care, and an outdoor "Airnasium" with basketball, pickleball, and futsal courts!

This project is being designed by LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. and built by Thomas Construction Group.

We've raised $11.5M of our $15M goal so far! Thank you to everyone who's supported this journey. Fundraising continues, and we can't wait to share this new space with our community.

Today we broke ground on a bigger, better Midtown YMCA, built for every family, every kid, and every neighbor in our community.

New pool. New wellness spaces. More child care. More courts. A place for all of us to grow, connect, and thrive together.
