💡 For 1 Million Cups Wednesday, UNCW Students in the CIE's Ignite Scholarship Program presented about their businesses. Kiernan with Grand Rentals, and Lauren with MediaMouth did an amazing job.

We hope to see more UNCW students start businesses and present them at 1MC soon! Go Seahawks!

🏆 Are you a grand fan of coastal North Carolina, or a certain book, movie, or podcast? For 1 Million Cups Wilmington this week we have University of North Carolina Wilmington students Lauren Soto - MediaMouth, and Kiernan Kovac - Grand Rentals who are going through the new UNCW CIE Ignite Scholarship Program.

MediaMouth is a fan-first social media platform built for people who live and breathe movies, shows, books, podcasts, and music. They archive and organize real reactions, real conversations, and real community. Grand Rentals is a local, student-owned beach equipment rental company that provides a variety of beach-related services to locals and tourists alike who want to enjoy our coastal environment. Our services include bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, surf boards, grills, and more.

⚖️ 🩺 Law firms and healthcare may not seem too sexy on the outside, but these startups are changing the game! This week at 1 Million Cups Wilmington we will have XTND Technologies - Kirsti Elliott, and Fact-Based Healthcare Decisions - Kurt Conger present. XTND Technologies is presenting to practice for upcoming events like Venture Atlanta, and NC IDEA.

After 1 Million Cups, a consultancy group helping the New Hanover County Endowment will be conducting focus groups interviewing local entrepreneurs.
