On a beautiful autumn day, we dedicated the Cape Fear Scottish Immigration Memorial at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site! We were joined by about 150 dignitaries and other guests, as well as donors and volunteers to honor our Scottish heritage and those thousands of Scottish immigrants who arrived just 300 yards from where we stood yesterday. Our thanks to all who made it possible to build and celebrate this important place of remembrance! I only had time to take one quick shot, but more will be posted as they become available, here and on our website, capefearscotsmemorial.org.

We had a great time this weekend at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games! Many folks stopped by to hear about our efforts on the Memorial, and expressed lots of support!
