SOUND THE ALARM! THE WATCHMAN MUST SPEAK!

What a powerful and spirit-filled Clergy Appreciation Sunday we experienced yesterday at Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church!

We were truly blessed by **Evangelist Faye Dadzie**, who delivered a timely and thought-provoking Word from God entitled **“Sound the Alarm!”**, taken from **Ezekiel 33:1–6**.

The message reminded us that being called to preach God's Word is more than standing behind a pulpit. It comes with a tremendous responsibility.

Just as God appointed watchmen to warn the people of approaching danger, He has called His ministers to sound the alarm, speak the truth, and warn others about sin and its consequences.

**The watchman's responsibility is to sound the alarm. The people's responsibility is to heed the warning.**

When the warning is given and someone chooses not to listen, the watchman has fulfilled the responsibility entrusted to them.

As we celebrated Clergy Appreciation Sunday, we were reminded that our clergy are not simply called to encourage us with words we want to hear, but also to challenge us with the truth we need to hear.

Yesterday, we honored and thanked the men and women of God associated with Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church who continue to stand faithfully on the Word, shepherd God's people, and sound the alarm!**

To Evangelist Faye Dadzie, thank you for allowing God to use you to deliver such a powerful message.

And to our Senior Pastor, **Rev. Dr. Donald E. Dunnigan, Sr.**, and all our clergy, we thank God for your faithfulness, leadership, prayers, and unwavering commitment to His calling.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church stands with those experiencing abuse and honors the courage of survivors.

To anyone living with abuse: It is not your fault. You deserve safety, dignity, and love without fear. Your life matters to God, and it matters to us.

As a church family, let’s listen without judgment, offer compassion, and support those seeking help—without pressuring them to share their story or make decisions before they are ready.

Let our words and actions remind someone they are not alone.
