Meet the OCS animals!

Who us? We didn't do it. Meet the OGs - that's Joe the Goat on the left and Goat Malone on the right. They were the first 4 legged creatures we welcomed to our Urban Farm. Both will follow you around like a dog, they like neck scratches and long walks on the beach - JK, they just like to eat.

On the left, GEORGIE! He's the bully of the group. look at those horns! If you want to be his friend you don't have to give him your lunch money, he only wants goat food.
On the right, Athena (AKA Milkshake) she brings the boys to the yard! She's a sweet girl but she's prone to using her hard head if someone is in her way to the chow line.

Join us for a hands-on, adventure-filled week at the OCS Urban Farm Summer Camp, led by experienced OCS Science and CTE teachers- Mrs. Logullo, Mrs. Tracy, and Mrs. Humphrey. Farm camp is DEFINITELY happening this summer- Week of June 16th!

Campers will explore the wonders of urban farming while engaging in fun, interactive activities that connect them to nature, sustainable food, and animal care.

Camp Highlights
-Farm Animal Care: Learn how to care for our goats, sheep, rabbits, and chickens.
-Gardening and Greenhouse Exploration: Spend time daily in our pollinator and vegetable gardens, planting, harvesting, and discovering sustainable farm practices.
-Daily Food Labs: Get creative in the kitchen with taste tests and hands-on food preparation.
-Sheep Shearing Demonstration: Witness a live demonstration and learn about wool production.
-Water Day Fun: Cool off with water-based activities.
-Arts & Crafts: Express creativity through farm-based activities.
-Harvest to Home: Campers will take home a selection of fresh produce from our gardens at the end of the week.
