This beautiful 63 B95 Mack was once part of the Wilmington Fleet. Today it is privately owned by a collector who take great care of the old girl. We are looking forward to having this beautiful piece back in the city for the Wilmington Fire 100th Anniversary Event this Saturday October, 23rd 2021. Come out and enjoy the day with us!

The city of Wilmington Delaware is holding Wilmington Fire Department 100th Anniversary Parade and Muster and Fire Flea-Market on October 23rd 2021 10:00am - 4:00pm. With the event coming up quick we are I need of more vendors. The spots are very cheap and the showing is looking to be great with well over 30 truck already registered and growing. 10x20 spots. Century of Service
Congratulations to Wilmington Fire Department, now celebrating its 100th anniversary. Organized in 1921 and holding its first fire prevention campaign that October, the city fire company has grown to a modern strength of six engine companies, two ladder companies and a marine firefighting unit. This photo shows one of the fire company’s forerunners around 1880. Unlike Wilmington, most of Delaware is covered by volunteer fire companies.
