Today marks a significant occasion—the birthdate of God's church as described in the Bible, particularly in Acts chapter 2. It's important to remember that the church isn't merely a building; it represents a community of believers following God's path to salvation. What does the Bible say about entering his church. Did you know that there is a process in making it into Gods church? According to scripture, entering God’s church requires specific steps: repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit. These actions are essential for the forgiveness of sins. Acts 2 emphasizes that no one joins God's church without undergoing baptism in Jesus' name and being filled with the Holy Spirit. This day not only commemorates the establishment of the church but also serves as a reminder that God desires each of us to reach heaven by adhering to His ordained way. The Bible does not teach about multiple ways to be saved. “There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.” Ephesians 4:5-6. This scripture underscores the singularity and unity of the path to salvation, affirming that there are no alternate routes to being saved. The beauty of today is that anyone can become a part of God’s church. Salvation is accessible today, but it does require action on your part. It is not enough just to accept God as your Lord and savior. It's not sufficient to merely acknowledge God as your Lord and Savior. Just as a teacher assesses a student’s understanding through tests, God confirms our faith through our actions and obedience to His word. Today, let's embrace the steps laid out in scripture and commit to living according to his plan not out own plan. If you are reading this please consider digging deeper into the word of God. Take time to study it.
