Next Friday, June 19, 2026, CLASI’s offices will be closed in observance of Juneteenth, the federal and Delaware state holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.

Friendship House is calling a Code Orange. All three Friendship House empowerment centers are open today and tomorrow for cooling, hydration, and hospitality.

We are calling Code Orange today, Thursday, and tomorrow, Friday (June 11th and June 12th). Walk-ins are welcome for Code Orange services - no referrals are needed.

Those in need of heat relief are encouraged to visit these locations - light snacks, water, and access to bathrooms will be available:
WILMINGTON
FH Wilmington Empowerment Center (720 N Orange St): 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
NEWARK
FH Newark Empowerment Center (300 E Main St): 8:30 am - 4:30 am
MIDDLETOWN

This past semester, the Delaware Supreme Court returned to Delaware Law for its annual on‑campus session, offering students a rare chance to watch real oral arguments unfold — from business‑law disputes to issues tied to the FTX bankruptcy.
