Talleyville Girls Softball

Girls Softball Teams were organized by geographic location with no try-outs or drafting. In, 2006 TGSL became a pony organization.

TGSL was founded in 1969 by three mothers who recognized the need for am\n organized after school program for girls who had the desire to play softball. After several years of this informal approach, the league developed the organizational structure that still exists today. By 1979 the league was sanctioned by the Amateut Softball Association (A.S.A). In 2008, TGSL opened up thier new home at the

former site of the Old Mill Lane School. These four fields have become the cornerstone of the future of softball at TGSL.

Our 57th season is right around the corner, and just like our athletes put in the work, it’s our turn to step up to the plate.

At Talleyville, we take tremendous pride in giving our girls fields that feel like home—safe, beautiful, and worthy of the memories they make on them. Keeping them that way takes a team effort, and that’s where you come in.

Grab a shovel, a rake, or just your willingness to help, and spend a couple of hours with us getting our fields game‑ready. Your time makes a real difference—and you’ll get your $25 back for pitching in.

Let’s knock this out of the park together on March 21st and start Season 57 the right way.
