A little about REV: It provides safe, temporary residential care for individuals experiencing homelessness who are too medically fragile to recover on the streets or in emergency shelters, yet do not require the level of care provided in a hospital setting. For up to 30 days, we offer a stable bed, routine medical monitoring, nutritious meals, and comprehensive case management to support each guest’s recovery and stabilization. Our goal is to bridge the gap between hospital discharge and long-term stability — restoring health, dignity, and safety while connecting guests to housing, healthcare, and community resources that support a lasting path off the streets.

WE ARE IN NEED OF A ZERO TURN LAWN MOWER! James' beloved mower is spending some weeks in the shop getting it's blades fixed, and in the meantime our grass is growing tall and James is sad. We can stand tall grass, but we can't handle James being sad! If you or anyone you know has a spare zero turn they would be willing to donate or lend us while ours gets fixed, we would be forever grateful!

Val and Paula know how to make a house into a home. These lovely ladies came and got this house ready and beautiful for our new resident moving in. Decorating a house for a new resident is one of the best tasks around Eden Village, making sure everything is clean, set up, and cozy for move-in day. We want our residents to walk in and feel like they've finally come home. Thank you Val and Paula for helping us make that happen for our new neighbor!

His normal tours are every single Monday at 2pm, but if you ask reallllyy nicely (or offer to donate!), he just may make some extra time to show you around 😄 Hit him with the hard questions, there's nothing George isn't up to speed on around the village! Have you heard of Yoga Village ? Amanda is their Executive Director, and she is the coolest girl in town 💘! Yoga Village is a nonprofit and co-Harrelson Center partner that teaches trauma informed yoga practices in Wilmington. Through this amazing partnership, Amanda comes and teaches accessible chair yoga to our residents, helping them breath deeply and work on their mobility. Our bodies store trauma and breathing and practicing yoga is the best way to teach our nervous system that we are safe. We all can benefit from a deep breath and thorough stretch. Thank you Amanda for creating a safe space for our residents to come and learn these practices with you.

sent us an awesome group to stain our fence down at EVA for their serve day! Our church partners have been such a staple in helping us manage all the work we need done, and we are infinitely grateful of our volunteers. There is lots of work to be done, but we all want to see Wilmington as a city where no one sleeps outside! We can make it happen, one tiny home at a time 🙏

Today is International Day of Friendship and out at Eden Village our residents know how to be both good neighbors and good friends. Andrew and Carl worked hard the other day in the heat to get their new neighbors porch ready for move-in! Move-in days are super exciting. It is a new start for someone who has really been through some tough stuff, and it fills our hearts to see the other residents stepping up to help the new resident feel welcome and cared for. Our residents can give us all a lesson in how to be better neighbors. Thank you Carl and Andrew for always being eager to step up and help out around the village. These two are great examples of good neighbors.
