Delaware Park Horse Aftercare Initiative Thoroughbred Aftercare Initiative launched by Delaware Park in partnership with CANTER & MidAtlantic Horse Rescue, to network TBs at the track.

Delaware Park and the Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association (DTHA) have partnered with Canter MidAtlantic and MidAtlantic Horse Rescue to network horses at Delaware Park looking for new homes. Proper aftercare of horses retired from racing at Delaware Park is the our priority, and this initiative will facilitate the placement of ex-racers into wonderful new homes. This is an incredible horse that’s bigger and more impressive in person. Retiring sound and well loved, he’s had an impressive career and is ready to move on into a sport career. He has size, movement and temperament to excel any direction. Anyone can ride him, he travels in a natural beautiful frame with comfortable gaits. Junior/ammy friendly type. Does have a small set osselet but is non limiting. No vices! RRP eligible

Tapiture - Kitten’s joy

You can’t get quieter, you can’t get kinder and you can’t get them more ready to go to an obstacle course right off the track. Zeus has a big presence under saddle with a lovely frame, soft mouth, he certainly doesn’t show himself off in hand. But this is a racehorse you can hop on ba****ck, hack around, pop over stuff - he has no spook and questions none of his person’s shenanigans. Perfect for eventing or hunters, perfect junior/ammy type. He will probably jump a course first time you put him to one. Has old splints but no other blemishes. Lovely type to work with and have in the barn. RRP eligible

Where are my Titanic fans??

What a sweet and kind gelding. Perfect for the hunter ring with a lovely flat kneed movement. He has clean legs, no known injuries or issues and no vices. He is very uncomplicated to handle and ride (just like Midnight Getaway).
