Creative expression can be a form of healing and a tool for awareness. We invite survivors to come join us April 9th to paint a t-shirt. Our past attendees have used this activity to inspire hope in others, while some used it to speak the words they couldn’t find. Register using the QR code to join us 🩵

Video description: A phone screen with a teal water color background, showing the date is January 23rd and time is 11:11. Phone notifications pop up one-by-one. “Are you okay?” “What can I do to help?” And “Call me” with the praying hands emoji. All three from “Friend”.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is reach out and make time to check-in. A simple “Are you okay?” can go a long way for someone that feels alone or is dealing with a situation that may seem too much to share with others. And the most important part of reaching out and making time? Actually listen. Creating a space and opportunity where it feels safe to reply with more than an “I’m fine”.

So we want to know, are you okay? What can we do to help?

Video Description:
Close-up of a person’s hand holding a smartphone while recording. The phone screen is visible, but the background is blurred with indistinct movement. The focus stays on the act of documenting, not what is being recorded.

Every day we see more and more why documenting can be beneficial as an act of prevention in potentially harmful situations or accountability when harm has taken place.

It’s important to use caution and prioritize safety when documenting. Be mindful of the rights and privacy of the parties that you are recording.
