Giving back to the youth. VP of Montford Point Marines Association Chapter #25 Wilmington NC Bernard Donnell volunteers coaching Trask Middle School Bears football team. Trying to be a positive guiding light to the youth of today. They got there first win of the season.

Brother F. M. Hooper arrangements. The wake and funeral will be at Chestnut Street Presbyterian. Haven’t confirmed the wake time but the funeral is 10am on 9/24/26, followed by internment at 2pm at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

It's with a Heavy Heart that I must announce the passing of our very own Orginal Montford Point Marine of Chapter #25 Wilmington NC Brother F. M. Hooper. A man of God, a real Marine, a Masonic Brother. We have lost a wealth of knowledge with the passing of Brother Hooper. Rest on my Brother until we meet again.

It was a honor and privilege for Montford Point Marines Association Chapter #25 of Wilmington NC to be a part of the renaming of MLK center Gymnasium. The two Gymnasium were named in honor of Coach William E. Murphy and Coach Ronald E. Davis. Two men who took out their lives to ensure that young kids in the Wilmington area learned how to be good sportsman but more than that good men and women. They are gone but never forgotten.
