As our girls prepare for the Girls Leading Change Summit, we're shining a spotlight on the incredible leader helping them every step of the way—Jennifer Ramsdell. 💜

Over the past several months, Jennifer has guided our girls through the process of identifying issues they care about, conducting research, developing advocacy projects, and building the confidence to create meaningful change in their communities.

This July, our girls will join hundreds of teen leaders from across North America at the Girls Leading Change Summit in St. Louis—a first-of-its-kind, girl-led advocacy experience where they will connect with peers, strengthen leadership skills, and showcase the impact they are making right here in Delaware.

Jennifer's commitment to empowering girls to use their voices, lead with purpose, and advocate for change is helping prepare the next generation of leaders.

Yesterday, we welcomed representatives from Girls Inc. of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area for a meaningful morning of conversation, connection, and collaboration.

Staff, board members, and HQ representatives came together to discuss our impact, share ideas, and strengthen our collective commitment to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Today’s Girls Inc. of Delaware Board Retreat was filled with meaningful conversation, strategic thinking, and shared commitment to building a stronger future for the girls and families we serve.

A special thank you to Councilwoman Michelle Harlee for hosting an engaging fireside chat and for sharing valuable resources and insights that will support both our programming and staff development. Your leadership, partnership, and investment in our community are deeply appreciated.

We also want to thank Veronica Escobedo, our Affiliate Engagement Director, for tapping in virtually to lead an important segment on Girls Inc. National Headquarters, affiliate alignment, and board expectations. Your guidance and expertise helped strengthen our collective understanding of the work and responsibility ahead.
