TITLE IX IS MORE THAN SPORTS

Title IX isn't just about equal opportunities in athletics. It is a federal civil rights law that helps protect people from s*x discrimination in educational programs receiving federal funding—including classrooms, career and technical education, STEM, admissions, and more.

Delaware in Action: Delaware schools are required to comply with Title IX and designate a Title IX Coordinator to help ensure these protections are upheld.

A dedicated educator, community leader, and champion for girls, Mary helped establish the Girls Club of Wilmington in 1954, laying the foundation for what is now Girls Inc. of Delaware.

Her vision continues to inspire generations of girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold. ✨

Over the next three days, our participants will connect with new friends, hear from inspiring leaders, explore college and career opportunities, and discover new ways to lead with confidence.

This weekend is about more than workshops and activities. It's about empowering the next generation of girls to dream bigger, use their voices, and embrace what it means to be strong, smart, and bold.
