From the brink of closure to a brighter future — we’re rising! 🔥

Girls Inc. of Delaware is proud to announce that we received the Phoenix Rising Award from Girls Inc. at the 2026 ASPIRE Conference, held September 27–October 1 in Arlington, Virginia! 🏆✨

ASPIRE brought together the Girls Inc. network for connection, learning, and inspiration. During this national conference, our affiliate was recognized for an incredible organizational turnaround — rebuilding from a period of uncertainty into a growing, stable organization committed to helping girls thrive.

In just the past year, Girls Inc. of Delaware has:
❤️ Reached 300+ girls across 10+ program sites
❤️ Secured over $400,000 in new donor revenue
❤️ Established eight new community partnerships
❤️ Seen 100% of participating girls report increased confidence

This award reflects the dedication of our girls, staff, board, and community partners who believed in our mission and helped us move forward. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead as we continue creating opportunities for girls across Delaware to become Strong, Smart & Bold. ❤️

What makes a girl a leader? It starts from within. ✨

This October, Girls Inc. of Delaware is joining Girls Inc. affiliates across the country for Lead from Here: Character in Action—a month dedicated to helping girls discover who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to show up in the world.

Our girls will explore six powerful character elements: confidence, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, kindness, respect, and self-advocacy. ❤️

Our girls explored Moroccan culture through music, art, hands-on activities, and learning, all while traveling the world without leaving Delaware! 🌍✈️

From early literacy and healthy living to STEM, advocacy, leadership, college & career readiness, and more, every stage has a place for girls to be Strong, Smart & Bold.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the nationwide debut of Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Pink For a Baja Blast® in partnership with the Taco Bell® Foundation!
